I was fully occupied preparing for my entrance exams while dealing with an unexpected [family responsibility] when the pressure of choosing the right Saint Kitts medical school suddenly became overwhelming, because I knew this decision would shape my entire future as a physician. While researching Caribbean MD programs, I realized that accreditation, experienced faculty mentorship, and access to U.S.-based clinical rotations are the most important factors for long-term success. During my search I discovered Windsor University School of Medicine, a private medical university located in Cayon, Saint Kitts and Nevis that awards a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree to international students.
